Mr. Bharat Pagi is the founder & Principal IPR consultant at Uddipak. He is an IP enthusiast, who focuses on enhancing business value by means of IPR.

He has done a Master in Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (M. Pharm) from L.M. College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad. He has around 13 years of Industry experience in IPR. He has worked with big corporates, which includes Intas / Accord Pharmaceuticals which is a top 10 pharmaceutical company in India, and Troikaa Pharmaceutical which is a leading innovation driven company in India.

He has diversified experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the areas of Intellectual Property Rights Management encompassing patent infringement analysis, Product selection, patent portfolio, competitive intelligence & IP mapping, IPR practice establishment, drafting, filing, risk management (IP risks), litigation and opposition strategy development in the field of IPR.

He has managed all IP-related activities of more than 170 products for all major markets like the US, EU, CA, AU, NZ, BR, MX, IN, SEA, and semi and non-regulated markets. He has played a pivotal role in launching more than 11 products with IP advantage. He has significantly contributed to providing complete IP support in more than 25 P-IV, including 10 First to file products. He has successfully managed more than 30 patent litigations/opposition in US / EU / CA. He has drafted and or prosecuted more than 100 patent applications across the Globe.

Before starting Uddipak, he was heading IPR department at Troikaa Pharmaceuticals, where he has managed a portfolio of more than 500 patents and 1000 trademarks.
